The artist created this work while the Coronavirus swept through her community. As the infected rate continued to rise, the artist found her anxiety to be increasing. To combat her anxiety she stopped watching the news and began to find peace by being more present with her family and nature. This work depicts the delicate balance of finding peace during a pandemic. There are moments where it has felt like everything just might topple down and then moments when one can enjoy the slower pace of life.

The raven shelters its two chicks from the world by carrying them upon its head within a sturdy nest. The raven is brave, able to provide, and stands firmly upon a rock.
The nest was inspired by the work of Hannah Brown.
